About the Journal

Svāsthya: Trends in General Medicine and Public Health is a multidisciplinary journal, and it is published six times (January, March, May, July, September, and November) a year. Svāsthya Journal, a Sanskrit concept meaning "being established in oneself," represents holistic health encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, aligning with contemporary trends in general medicine and public health that emphasize preventive care, lifestyle medicine, and the integration of individual wellness with community health outcomes. The objective is to promote articles on general medicine, infection, public health, global health, tropical infection, One Health, and diseases in the tropics. Svāsthya publishes original research work across all disciplines of medicine and allied sciences related to infection, public health, global health, tropical infection, One Health, and diseases in the tropics. This is particularly evident in Indonesia and other countries with analogous circumstances and constraints. The journal publishes original articles, short reports, case reports, review articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and letters to the editor. Svāsthya is an online-only journal, and all articles do not have page numbers; instead, they are given a unique article number. All articles published in Svāsthya are peer-reviewed and published online for immediate access and citation.
